Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Tour
In this package, we will be visiting the places like Bhaktapur, Patan, Swyambhu, Boudha and many other places of tourist interest in Kathmandu valley to know the historic part of Nepal and its growth. Chitwan has had a long history of preservation. For many years it was the Royal hunting grounds for the Kings and dignitaries of Nepal and therefore was not hunted by the general public. It did however become a chosen spot for big game safari hunters in the late nineteenth and early to mid-twentieth centuries. This was united with a surge in local human populations following the development of anti-malaria medicines in the mid-twentieth century. Pokhara is naturally beautiful city where we can have the panoramic view of snow-capped mountains, beautiful lakes like Phewa Lake and Begnash Lake. David’s Fall is really interesting waterfall in Pokhara. The Mahendra Cave, Gupteshor Mahadev Cave and Chamere Gufa (Cave) are amazing in Pokhara. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is situated 230 km away from Kathmandu in Rupendehi District of Southern Terai (lowland), at an altitude of 600 ft. above sea level. Lumbini has many new monasteries occupied by different nations. The China temple, which is a very beautiful pagoda styled temple with many prayer and meditation cells. In Lumbini the visitors can get the insight into the life of Lord Buddha and the development of Buddhism. Around 62 archaeological sites here preserve the significance to the life, enlightenment and death of Buddha.
Day 01 : Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and get transferred to a hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square, complex of palaces, courtyard and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries use to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. In the afternoon visit the Swoyambunath Stupa and Patan City. Swoyambhunath Stupa, atop the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna, built entirely of stone.
Day 03 : Kathmandu to Chitwan
After breakfast drive to Chitwan and check in upon arrival. Lunch will be served at the resort/lodge. In the afternoon proceed for a tour to Tharu Village and witness the Tharu Cultural Performance.
Day 04 : Chitwan
After breakfast, your adventure holiday starts off with canoeing in the Rapti River where you can see Gharial and then, a visit to the Elephant breeding centre. After Lunch proceed to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant where you are free to see animals such as rhino, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle.
Day 05 : Chitwan to Lumbini
After breakfast take a quick tour of Birdwatching than drive to Lumbini. The Birhplace of Lord Buddha.Lumbini is locate west part of Nepal. This is the birth place of Siddhartha Gautam who later became Buddha (Gautam Buddha) and established Buddhism. Next fact Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrim.
Day 06 : Lumbini to Kathmandu
After breakfast, explore around Lumbini as sightseeing. The sightseeing in Lumbini provide inner peace to every one. Afternoon you will drive to back to Kathmandu.
Day 07 : Final Departure
Free for adequate personal activities till departure transfer from hotel to the International Airport.
